Description:
This position is in the corrugated packing division of International
Paper. We are one of the largest corrugated box manufacturers in the
world.
This position is located in Austin Minnesota and would provide
accounting support to the Austin, MN facility and help support the MN
region accounting team. The position reports to the Regional Complex
Controller.
This position leads the finance function at the Austin facility
including but not limited to: budgeting, forecasting, financial
analysis, work with team on month end close, advice and recommendations,
transactions and other related activities.
Required Qualifications:
* Degree in accounting, finance or other appropriate degree or
equivalent work experience.
* Five or more years of accounting experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple
responsiblities.
* Strong people skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities
* Strong customer commitment and senseof urgency to respond to internal
and external customers
* Strong computer skills – windows applications, spreadsheets…
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with the corrugated industry
* Experience with SAP and Witron
