I. Position Summary:
The Administrative Secretary provides secretarial, administrative and clerical support.
II. Essential Functions:
The Administrative Secretary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Provides receptionist, clerical and administrative secretarial support including greeting customers, answering the telephone, typing, copying, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, screening and redirecting mail, ordering supplies, preparing requisitions and work orders, filing and maintaining confidential files and/or contracts, and other office related job duties
* Assists with and/or coordinates the preparation of budgets, reports, data collection, data entry, business plans, data research, analysis and programs
* Assists with or coordinates payment of departmental billing and/or collections
* Maintains records of time-worked for other departmental staff
III. Accountability:
The Administrative Secretary reports to the Director.
IV. Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Training through formal education or by experience in secretarial procedures including typing, word processing, grammar and punctuation, preparing and formatting reports, business letter/memo writing
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* 2 years secretarial experience
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English
