Description

This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Director and staff. Duties will include, but are not limited to routinely interacting with Company executives and employees, appropriately responding to and managing telephone calls and mail/email requests; proactively composing and preparing notes and correspondence; preparing and organizing meeting materials; scheduling and coordinating meetings and conference calls, coordinating travel arrangements; handling expense reports, maintaining multiple calendars; timekeeping, purchasing supplies, routinely maintaining confidential information and handling other miscellaneous functions as needed.

Job Experience & Education

* Significant secretarial/administrative experience required
* Experience working with a diverse group with multiple needs
* High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Knowledge and use of general office administration/management practices and equipment desired
* Must be proficient in working with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company-specific programs
* Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
* Possesses strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills, including good listening skills
* Proactively initiates problem solving, makes decisions, anticipates next steps, implements solutions and monitors progress for multiple projects
* Exhibits strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, time management and calendar management skills
* Ability to effectively interact with a variety of position levels and personalities
* Able to successfully perform multiple tasks simultaneously
