Description
This position supports the US Air Force Pacific at Hickam AFB in Hawaii with Operational Support Airlift/Executive Airlift.
Under minimal direction, updates information systems and may provide mission planning, airlift, or refueling operations support. May coordinate and plan a wide range of missions to include, but not limited to: common user airlift, aeromedical evacuation, operations and maintenance (O&M) training, Special Assignment Airlift (SAAM), Executive Airlift Support; exercise and contingency missions relative to Air Operations Center (AOC)-centric and non-AOC-centric air mobility operations, headquarters directed short notice taskings; tanker missions; Coronets; scheduled and unscheduled aeromedical evacuation (AE) missions; and PACAF assigned unit’s quarterly horseblanket requirements. May be required to provide written and verbal decision-quality course of action analysis and recommendation in response to requests for review and comment on issues directly or indirectly relative to air mobility planning, command and control (C2) and dispatch operations. May work with user and flying units to optimize use of limited aircraft assets to fulfill validated tanker requirements.
Required Qualifications: Typically requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
