Schwab One and Banking Operations services and maintains accounts at Charles Schwab Bank and Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. The Schwab One and Banking Operations vision is to provide superior service and product support by anticipating and exceeding client expectations, while demonstrating Schwab’s values. The responsibilities in support of CS & Co. (Schwab One/Access) include: customer service and operations for Check/ACH Visa debit card and Billpay products, vendor management, project and systems development and staff training. The responsibilities for Schwab Bank include processing and customer service support for Bank consumer deposit and credit products. The deposit products include traditional checking, savings, money market and CD accounts with features such as Visa Check Card, overdraft protection and funds transfer services. The credit product includes the Overdraft Credit Line.
Minimum of 2 years customer service experience required. Position is on an Operational Team which specializes in providing services to our Banking and Brokerage clients. Basic customer service / operational skills are required with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks within defined timelines. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is critical. Effective interaction with customers both internal and external customers. Candidate will be responsible for working with Schwab Bank’s Home Equity Line of Credit product, processing daily wire transfer requests. Candidate must exercise good judgment and decision making skills both independently and collaboratively with the team. Candidate must also utilize judgment to resolve or appropriately escalate items. Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is critical
Must be a fast learner able to learn multiple integrated brokerage and banking systems
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal & written
Solid critical thinking skills and sound judgment are very important
Highly effective problem solving skills also are necessary
