Description:
Summary: Performs all tasks necessary for the manufacturing operations of both clinical and commercial manufacturing programs.
Currently the scheduled shift is generally 1st during non-production times. If you wish to be considered for this opportunity, you must be available to work all shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd). All MAs will be assigned a regular shift once the production schedules are finalized.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Performs all aspects of respective areas of operations.
-Ensures all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with safety standards.
-Operates respective equipment during process.
-Performs various tests and analytical procedures.
-Performs in-process sampling, Quality Control Chemistry and Quality Control Microbiology.
-Monitors operating parameters and ranges.
-Keeps process area stocked with essential equipment and components.
-Monitors environmental chambers; changes temperature charts weekly for chambers.
-Assists other departments such as Validation and Facilities; contacts and assists outside vendors as needed.
-Creates/revises SOPs, Manufacturing Records, and batch sheets.
-Assists in documentation process associated with Deviations, CAPA’s and M/C’s.
No supervisory responsibilities are associated with this position.
Experience:
Knowledge and Skills:
-Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software;
-Knowledge of PC environment;
-Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment;
-Good written and oral communication skills;
-Ability to work well independently and with others.
Education and Experience:
Requires EITHER a BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field, OR relevant work experience in a regulated structured environment. Experience in an SOP, ISO, or similar regulated environment desired.
