Position Summary:

Summary:

Omniflight Helicopters Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to work in our Florida market. This position will be based in the Orlando metorpolitan area. The Business Development Manageris responsible for development of Omniflight’s business services through sales and marketing relationships with local referral sources, health care providers and other potential external customers. This includes assisting regional leadership in the implementation of plans and programs to educate the local health care and business community about Omniflight and its capabilities. The individual will actively participate in problem identification and resolution. Will work closely with the Regional Management to address all issues in a timely, fair and professional manner and ensure the successful marketing of our business by performing the following duties.

Job Duties:

· Manage existing book of business to maximize current opportunities

* Solicit and prospect new business opportunities to grow volume . Perform sales oriented calls on pre-hospital and inter-hospital personnel and agencies as directed.
* Uphold and promote the Omniflight safety culture as a competitive advantage.
* Assist the local regional leadership team in the implementation of plans to increase referrals to Omniflight.
* Assists in the development of Omniflight marketing and promotional materials and updating of information among Receiving Hospital Outreach Partners.
* Record and maintain the outcome of site visits and sales calls, reporting results to Regional Management on a weekly basis
* Maintains a professional appearance while on duty and representing Omniflight during other social and business functions.
* Work and communicate effectively, maintaining open communication lines with the Regional Management and all support staff to ensure appropriate information flow and resolution of issues.
* Implement other programs to educate the health care community and public about Omniflight. and our business capabilities
* Record all expenditures and submits reports for appropriate
* Assist the Regional Management in the review and resolution of situations arising from day-to-day operations within the system, as they pertain to marketing.
* Participate in special project development as designated by the Regional Vice President or Vice President Business Development
* Responsible for timely completion of daily, weekly and/or monthly reports.
* If the Manager, Business Development is a flight paramedic or flight nurse, the position may also provide clinical support to Omniflight.
* All other duties assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

* B.S. in Business or related field
* 3 to 5 years previous sales and marketing experience. in a healthcare setting
* Excellent communication and extroverted interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience as a Flight Nurse, Flight Paramedic, Helicopter EMS Pilot is desirable
* Other certifications in pertinent specialty areas (i.e. CCRN, CEN, CFRN, National EMT Registry, NAACS, FAA Commercial Rotor Wing license, etc.)are desirable.
* Must be available to travel based on company needs with limited advance notice.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license with at clean driving record.
* Basic computer skills including the ability to use MSOffice products, such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to conduct activities requiring lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of burdens, up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
* Ability to conduct activities requiring climbing, stooping, kneeling/bending and reaching on a very limited basis while working in an office or visiting a customer.
* Ability to walk on uneven ground while visiting a scene or performing training classes while outside.

Working Conditions:

* Frequently working indoors in an office.
* May regularly work outdoors and visit the customers in variable inclement weather.
* Work may be performed in, on, or near operational aircraft.
* Exposure to aircraft noise, fumes, gases, odors, dust particles, and mechanical hazards.
* Regular exposure to extremes of heat and cold in all weather conditions.
* Significant vibration during take-off and landing of aircraft.
* May be exposed to blood or other bodily fluids.
* Subject to long, irregular hours.
