Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible to the Manager of Ambulatory and Financial Information Systems. The Business Systems Analyst assesses, plans, implements and evaluates information system support needs for business operations according to own judgment, policies, procedures, protocol and standards. As an internal consultant, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for system assessment, process analysis, identification of system requirements, and functional definition of planned system changes. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for identifying and implementing information system solutions that support more efficient and effective work performance based on inherent knowledge of business functions and processes. The Business Systems Analyst develops and manages project plans for the deployment of new and/or changes to information system applications. The Business Systems Analyst administers system applications, security access, and serves as an educator and resource regarding system functionality. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for functioning within scope of individual education, licensure and competence.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

* Required: Advanced level of Business and analytical skills. Project Management skills. Presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills; excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Demonstrated skill in coaching, and mentoring others.
EDUCATION:
* Preferred: MBA preferred. Further related degree in computer science or related information systems field preferred.
* Required: Bachelors Degree .
EXPERIENCE:
* Preferred:
* Required: Minimum of recent 5 years experience as functional user of Lawson Financial Suite. Including expertise in the following areas: General Ledger, GL Report Writer, Accounts Payable, Invoice Matching, Cash Ledger, MS Add-Ins, Financial and Operating Reports, redesign of Chart of Accounts and Accounting Unit structure, LBI, Activities and Asset Management. At least one year of information management experience supporting Lawson in a technical manner. Including expertise in the following areas: systems analysis, upgrades, implementation of new applications, implementation and support of interfaces (capital expenditures, requisitions, purchase orders, accounts payable and general ledger). Experience in end user education program development and presentations is required.
