Requirements
GENERAL FUNCTION: Manages the business relationship between FTPS and the assigned merchant beginning with the conversion of the merchant to FTPS systems and following through with all aspects of account management. Ensures merchant satisfaction by responding to merchant requests, managing accounts proactively and taking corrective action as necessary. Cross-sells FTPS products and assists in securing contract renewals. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manages the conversion process including the completion of paperwork, scheduling and participation in conference calls, coordination of testing, certification (if applicable), merchant training, and other conversion-related tasks as required. * Responds promptly to customer inquiries and requests, takes the initiative in resolving problems and issues, initiates development of FTPS products to meet customer needs. Identifies potential problem areas during the conversion process and in ongoing merchant day-to-day processes based on experience with other merchants and past conversions. Proactively addresses these areas in advance by offering suggestions and alternative solutions. * Documents events, problems, problem resolution, issues and other actions by writing internal memos and emails and correspondence to customers as necessary. * Provides FTPS management with regular status reports, both written and verbal, regarding customer status. Identifies customer issues and problems and escalates to management when necessary. * Communicates with customers on a regular basis to maintain a strong working relationship with operational and/or senior management. Evaluates customers and tactical plans to be sure FTPS remains integral to their successful operation of business. * Cross-sells FTPS and/or Fifth Third products to assigned customers and coordinates contract renewals and rate reviews. * Maintain an awareness and knowledge of competitors products and pricing and of new trends and development in the industry. * Develops working knowledge of FTPS products. * Develops technical expertise in the conversion of merchant systems to FTPS systems, including the implementation, training and maintenance of FTPS products and services. * Specializes in dial terminal and dial software environment of high volume merchants assigned. * Working understanding of Mvision. Experience
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree or at least one year equivalent work experience.

Above average analytical and mathematical skills
General understanding of merchant credit card processing
Excellent written and verbal skills
