Hiring for Retail Sales in Cosmetics – Nordstrom, Anchorage

Our Cosmetics department offers a wide range of fine fragrances, hair and skin products, and bath and body lines.
Cosmetics at Nordstrom offers selling positions that include Counter Manager, Beauty Advisor, and Fragrance Advisor.
As a salesperson in our Cosmetics department, you will assist customers with complimentary makeup, skincare and/or fragrance consultations and a comprehensive product selection. To enhance your skin care, artistry and fragrance selling skills, we offer training specific to the vendor you represent. We also offer an exclusive Skin Care Certification and Fragrance Certification Program (there are terms and conditions that apply to this program). Primary Responsibilities:
· Greet customers in a timely, professional and personable manner
· Use product knowledge and selection to provide exceptional service to customers and build your sales
· Offer hands-on cosmetics consultations
· Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise, and remind them of upcoming events
· Perform merchandising tasks, such as stock, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, and transfers
Qualifications:

· Be a self-starter and use good judgment in all situations
· Previous experience in cosmetics sales preferred
