Senior Clinical Research Associate / Sr. CRA
Overview
Our Client, a global leader for cardiovascular devices who has manufactured over 200,000 devices to over 100 countries since 1996, is seeking to add a Senior CRA to the dynamic team!
Job Description
The Sr. Clinical Research Associate will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and close out of clinical investigations while supporting professionalism and scientific expertise of the department. Specific responsibilities include:
* Follow department Standard Operating Procedures.
* Set up sites (Clinical Research Agreements, IRB Approvals, etc.)
* Prepare and maintain in-service manuals, case report forms, informed consent and other specialized documents for clinical investigations.
* Site training of protocol and procedures.
* Process Emergency and Compassionate use cases.
* Assist clinical sites in product and procedure questions.
* Assist Programs Manager in writing Clinical Report for FDA.
* Supervise data entry and data analyst.
* Organize Investigator and Data Safety Monitoring Board meetings.
* Review of data forms and DCF generation.
* Serve as project manager for studies as requested.
* Conduct field audits to assure protocol compliance and data integrity.
* Generate presentations when requested by investigators of personnel.
* Assist Regulatory Affairs in preparation of safety, efficacy and performance inquiries.
* Counsel and train newly hired CRAs and monitors.
* Travel approximately 20% as needed.
* Participate in professional activities outside of normal business hours.
Job Requirements
* BA/BS in Medical Science, Nursing or related area.
* 5 demonstrated years of experience in clinical research as a CRA, preferably with a medical device company.
* Leadership and supervisory experience a plus
Salary
$80K – $88K per year depending on experience.
