Job Description:
Curbell, Inc. is seeking an Information Technology Manager to support our Business Solutions Team.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing all organization technologies including: technology support & training, creating IT related policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with Curbell’s short and long term strategic objectives. Additionally, the position will provide leadership, direction, coaching, mentoring, and management to the Information Technology Team.
* Acts as the functional liaison between Information Technology and the businesses. Build strong relationships with the business management and stakeholders. Ensure that the businesses strategic short and long term objectives are understood and well defined. Translate these objectives into goals and deliverables for Information Technology team in alignment with the established Service Level Agreements.
* Be responsible for the planning phase of the system development process. Work with business partners on activities including business case development, requirement analysis, solution identification, end-user training and testing, and communication for application system needs.
* Manage IT purchasing, infrastructure, and vendor cost to achieve cost effective and high quality organization in alignment with Curbell’s long term strategic goals. Help develop and effectively manage IT budgets. Ensure budget adherence with periodic budget review.
* Create, manage, communicate, and update IT related procedures, policies, standards, and metrics to ensure high quality and uninterrupted service for our clients. Assess and ensure compliance management with relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.
* Identify, recruit, and retain top performing employees; manage non-performing employees in accordance with company policy. Manage with the intent to motivate, train, and develop. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding progress of work and performance. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, use sound judgment, exhibit autonomy, and execute.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant fields from a four-year college or a university.
* 5+ plus year experience in IT or Business Solutions management role with a team of more than 5 members.
* Strong experience in designing, implementing, and improving business processes with defined standard, policies, and metrics.
* Demonstrated experience with enterprise-level system implementation and maintenance (prior SAP experience is a plus).
* Demonstrated experience with sizable infrastructure and hardware management.
* Demonstrated experience with IT asset management & budgeting.
* Demonstrated experience with coaching, mentoring, and leading.
Job Specific Requirements:
* Strong project management expertise (resource allocation, deadline management, budget management, etc.), oversight, and guidance for all IT related projects.
* Ability to conduct process mapping & process improvement tasks in order to enhance productivity and to facilitate continuous improvements while optimizing costs.
* Support of User Departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Engineering, etc.) in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of application software or technology solutions.
* Experience with implementing and maintaining a new or existing ERP system, preferably SAP.
* Experience with maintaining and managing windows applications and systems -including but not limited to Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Exchange.
* IT Asset Management across the company – managing technology inventory including procurement and disposal.
* Experience with various infrastructure architectures (including server virtualization) in order to suggest and design cost effective & efficient infrastructure solutions in alignment with company’s long term goals.
* Performs periodic network security and reliability assessments.
* Managing and maintaining company’s phone systems.
* Ability to develop and effectively manage IT budgets to ensure adherence based on Curbell’s long & short term goals.
* Perform proactive annual technology assessments by conducting comparative analysis when necessary.
* Ability to negotiate contracts and to maintain relationships with vendors.
* Design, development, communications, and updating IT related policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and performance metrics for access and maintenance of the technical environment (software, hardware, etc) that covers operations, recovery, and business continuity.
* Preparation, maintenance, and testing of a technology disaster recovery plan working with a third party business partner.
* Compliance and risk management as a result of changing regulatory and business needs.
* Work with webmaster and marketing team to outline future of Curbell Web strategies and developments (intranet, websites, web-applications, etc.)
* Maintains knowledge on current and upcoming technologies.
* Ability to multi-task and willingness to work hands-on with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
* Ability to manage conflicts.
* Strong oral and written communication skills to both technical and business community.
* Mentor and coach staff to improve skills, provide career growth and succession plans.
