Description:
SUMMARY
Establish excellent customer relations by providing prompt and courteous service and assistance in person, on the telephone, or by mail. Assists customers with account problems, special requests, and information. May back up tellers and receptionist plus other customer related activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides greeting and direction to customer.
Involves phone and personal contact with customer.
Possesses in-depth knowledge of retail services and products; successfully completes product knowledge and sales training to effectively cross-sell bank products and services, develops a general knowledge of business, banking and of current economic/market conditions.
Develops effective telephone skills and satisfactorily handles all telephone inquiries.
Prioritizes multiple customer demands to provide maximum service levels to all customers.
Provides superior customer service and complaint resolution, follows up on complaints and insures customer satisfaction.
Establishes rapport with customer base through techniques such as customer identification by name, customer smile, handshake, introduction and thanking them for their business.
Understands competitor bank products and services and understands the advantages of First Interstate Bank.
Listens effectively and understands non-verbal communication skills.
Learns to effectively say “no” in a courteous and professional manner.
Handles balance inquiries and resolves problems.
Handles Return Mail.
Orders customer check.
Scan deposit documents.
TMS daily audit.
CIP post work.
Balances In-house Checking Accounts monthly.
Maintains audit, regulatory, and security standards.
Adheres to Bank Policies and Procedures.
Reports suspicious transactions, activity or situations to appropriate personnel.
