OMD is seeking a Financial Analyst.
Position Responsibilities:
Maintain department P&Ls
Maintain labor budgets
Prepare budgets and reforecasts for various P&Ls
Perform monthly P&L variance analysis
Own preparation of journal entries related to monthly close process
Analyze labor by account
Assist in analyzing client profitability
Assist in preparing information related to Global Account Management initiative
Review and approve agency expenses
Assist with ad hoc projects as requested
Position Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
2 to 3 years experience in an accounting / finance environment
Experience in media or advertising industry a plus
Advanced Excel skills required (e.g. pivot tables)
Experience with Cognos and Hyperion a plus
Access and VBA experience a plus
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Must be detail-oriented
Must take ownership of projects
