Our Financial Accounting group is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist
Job Description
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
Working within the Global MIS Regulatory reporting group, the person will assist in;
Preparation and analysis of Consolidated MIS Credit Suisse Group and Divisional regulatory reporting information.
Preparation of Asset Management, Shared Services and Risk Weighted Assets by currency reports
Analysis of results including impact assessments of risk parameters changes including Pillar 2 procyclicality
Other ad-hoc analyses.
Maintain and update Access databases.
TO QUALIFY YOU MUST POSSESS:
Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
CPA/professional accountancy certification desired
3+ years Investment Banking experience
All round product knowledge
Regulatory technical/business skills and knowledge
Knowledge of Basel II
Strong organizational skills
Strong Excel skills
Strong Access skills and knowledge of VBA a plus.
Departmental Overview
The Basel II Measurement and Reporting group (BMR) is responsible for providing information to external regulators, front office, and senior management in respect of the following, in order to ensure compliance with minimal requirements and provide a means of internal management: Swiss Regulatory Capital, US GAAP Balance Sheet, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, and Large Exposure Reporting. The largest team is based in New York (approx. 20) with other teams based in London, Zurich, and Singapore.
