Responsible for developing, monitoring and administrating the Credit Union Information Security Program and adherence to related procedures that equals or exceeds the information security standards prescribed by National Credit Union Administration regulations and other applicable federal and state information security laws and regulations. Supervises the daily activity of Information Security Specialists. Assists and advises the Network Administrator on security and technical issues and acts as backup network administrator as needed.
BS degree in computer or business related field required as well as supervisory experience. CISSP certification highly desirable. Extensive knowledge on UNIX and TCP/IP with two years experience in security systems running on a UNIX platform including firewall administration and management. Excellent working knowledge of encryption technologies and hands-on usage of encryption tools, tunneling techniques. Three years experience in information security administration including development and enforcement of information security policies, security report review and analysis and security information audits. Three years hands-on experience with intrusion detection systems and VPN’s.

Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds. Must be able to read and speak English. Sitting, typing and computer monitor viewing for extended periods up to 8 hours.
