Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience: 1 year in a medical billing office
Training: Medic Computer System preferred
Other: Typical business office machines (copier, calculator, etc)

Job Summary:
Cape Coral, Southwest Florida Location
Strong healthcare business operations collection and resolution experience strongly preferred
Customer Service, Interpersonal and telephone skills needed.
Salary:
Start at $ 12.50 p/hour
After 3 months, if meet standards $ 13.00
After 6 months, if meet standards $ 13.50
After 9 months, if meet standards $ 14.00
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides claim follow up , resolution of and payment from insurance companies for unpaid claims of LMHS employed physicians.
Duties will include completing outstanding insurance reports, researching insurance correspondence, documenting in the Medic computer system, following up on customer inquiries and/or complaints, and communicating with other departments.
Duties may also include posting of insurance and patient receipts, customer service phone calls, and assisting intra-departmentally to resolve accounts.
