Job Description: This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and additions, deletions or changes can be made at any time.

Ø Writes/edits and produce daily topicals, and other promotional/community and contest spots as assigned

Ø Produce snipes and Voice over credits.

Ø Fill promotional logs (wide orbit knowledge helpful)

Ø Tag syndicated and network spots

Ø Administrative assistant to all employees within the Creative Services department – includes invoicing, monthly shoot schedule, production orders, dubs for sales clients

Ø Maintain contest page on website and contact winners

Ø Sends out press releases to press list and follow up phone calls

Ø Schedules and manages station tour efforts

Ø Provides regular Receptionist Relief

Ø Perform other duties as assigned by Creative Services management.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: College degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or applicable field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of television experience preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: Valid Drivers license and proof of insurance.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must possess fundamental computer skills (Word/Excel) and type well. Must understand basic TV production skills such as scripting, composition, logging, field and studio production and post production. Ideal candidate will be highly motivated, creative minded and extremely detail oriented. Non-linear (Final Cut Pro) editing experience a plus. Must be flexible and able to work weekend and/or evening shifts when necessary.
