DESCRIPTION
America InterContinental University (AIU), a regionally accredited institution, is seeking candidates for adjunct faculty positions in our Media Production program. Qualified candidates should have the terminal degree (preferably MFA or Ph.D.) or its equivalent in Media Production, Film, Digital Media or a related field,. College-level teaching experience is preferred. Curriculum development experience is a plus. Candidates with industry experience in digital media, video and sound recording /editing are preferred. Ideal candidates will also be able to demonstrate proficiency in motion media design tools including the Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Final Cut Pro, and ProTools. Candidates must be able to communicate with, and motivate, students to think creatively and critically, and apply higher-level theoretical models to the practice of digital media in order to prepare students for rapidly evolving careers.
