Management position responsible for supporting the business development activities of the Manportable EO Systems Business Area at Laser Systems. This includes: driving the New Business Assault & Capture (NBAC) / Business Acquisition Process (BAP) for assigned opportunities and developing STEP Reviews, analyzing the market, gathering competitive intelligence, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, developing and executing effective capture management plans and strategies. Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated success in developing and capturing DoD new business. Must have a thorough understanding of the DoD Program Planning and Budgeting System (PPBS), military requirements development and acquisition processes. Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years experience in business development, program management or related technical area. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. U.S. Government Security Clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Military experience in requirements development, acquisition management and/or operations is strongly preferred. Product development experience with electro-optical sensors, lasers and/or electronics systems is strongly desired. Military experience as a Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC), Forward Air Controller (FAC), Forward Observer and/or Combat Controller is strongly desired. Relocation Assistance Available.
