Job Title NTWK SVC SYS ADMIN II
Job Description The Windows support team is a 24×7 centralized support team staffed with systems administrators of varying backgrounds and skill levels. The team provides 24×7, Tier 2/3 support for OSS and Service-Path computing systems. Specifically, the team maintains and provides systems administration for Microsoft Windows-based servers. Specific requirements include: 4+ years experience as a Windows systems administrator; a college degree in a related technical discipline and/or work experience totaling 9 years post high school; advanced experience with data systems, IP networking, and/or telecom technologies; proven verbal and written communications skills–utilize influencing skills with customers and/or external vendors; ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations — ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects; project management experience and demonstrated leadership skills; demonstrated management skills/abilities in previous projects.
Oversees server maintenance, Windows administration, application maintenance and service level compliance. Proposes and implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
