The person selected to fill this posting will fill a term contract position for a minimum of 12 months.

The work associated with this position will be performed in Jacksonville, FL. It is preferred that the individual currently reside in this area.

The incumbent will assist the customer ET staff in activities associated with preparing for an office move and assisting in post move requirements. Activities to be performed may include, but are not limited to:
* Installing/de-installing security alarms, access control/intrusion detection systems, CCTV, video/camera systems
* Installing/de-installing, terminating, testing all types of cabling (copper/optical fiber)
* Documenting and labeling installed cabling
* Installing cable tray/conduit
* Overseeing contracted vendors performing installation functions
* Conducting site reviews
* Performing quality assurance inspections and associated functions.

MUST HAVE:
* Self starter capable of performing duties with minimal supervision
* An understanding of basic electronics theory
* Capable of reading blueprints and wiring schematics/diagrams
* Familiar with tools and test equipment used in installation activities
* Must have a high school degree with a minimum nine years of experience. One year of experience may be substituted for each year of formal education.
* Must have an active Top Secret SSBI security clearance.

PREFER TO HAVE:
* BICSI installer certification
* An understanding of industry standards and building codes
* An awareness of OSHA regulations
