Google Creative Lab: The Google Creative Lab is a small unit within Google that hopes to re-think marketing, across every kind of media, currently existing or not, with Google as its sole client. The job of the Creative Lab is to manage the Google brand, find new ways to communicate Google innovations, intentions, and ideals, and do work of which we can all be insanely proud.
The role: Print and Installation Producer, Creative Lab
Print and Installation Producers assist in the development of the Creative Lab studio business plan and scoping studio processes for traffic and print production. You will conspire with creatives and other producers on big, never-been-done-before thinking, across platforms, but also be the bulletproof keeper of the budget and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Under guidance of Executive Producer, manage outside production companies and resources, both procedurally and financially.
* Define tactical requirements and scope for projects, and help to reinforce production best practices from creative briefing to launch.
* Own project based budgets, schedules for multiple concurrent projects and drive client communication.
* Create relationships with senior Google management and represent production timing and expenditures to them.
* Be the champion for ALL kinds of media.
Requirements:
* BA degree or equivalent experience.
* At least 6 years of print production experience.
* Experience with advertising agency methodologies and proven experience on major productions for major creative brands.
* Ability to identify, interpret and prioritize business requests.
* Experience working with and managing third party vendors.
* Experience across a wide range of production types: books, outdoor, print, etc.
* Global experience, perspective and ability to work in fast-paced, start-up environment.
