WWT is currently looking for a Project Manager in our Alaska office to support our growing business in the area of construction projects. Qualified applicants will have a minimum 5 + years of project management experience within the Construction and IT Industry. Experience managing Cisco deployment projects is preferred along with managing sub-contractors for infrastructure improvements. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have a proven track record of accomplishing tasks on time and within scope and budget. Candidates will need to exhibit strong problem solving and be able to effectively plan, schedule, and coordinate all efforts. In addition, the position requires demonstrable experience with Professional Services process workflow, milestone management and quality control requirements. Typical projects consist of large-scale WAN deployments, upgrades, and product refresh and infrastructure installation over broad geographic areas. The chosen candidate must be able to pass an extensive background check with no prior convictions. A college degree or equivalent experience is required. Previous technical experience is preferred and/or PMP Certification. Qualified candidates must be interested in working within a fast-paced, changing environment with a flexible travel schedule. Extensive experience with fundamental computer applications skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project is preferred. This position may require up to 25% travel. Other qualifications include the ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports, excellent documentation skills and attention to detail, ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers, experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and the ability to write business reports in a well-organized manner.
