Job Description First American Title Insurance Company, a Fortune 300 company, is currently seeking part-time Quality Control Specialists for its Orlando and Largo locations to be responsible for the review of files/reports, pre-close clearance and final clearance reviews to ensure quality standards and timely completion of all outstanding file tasks in production. The primary responsibilities include: review and perform a quality check on final reports and completed documents for accuracy and completion; identify missing information and areas requiring corrections; contact internal resources to obtain required information; ensure the product is in compliance with company, regulatory and customer standards and other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications Must have high school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred;
Must have 5-7 years of escrow/industry experience;
Must be familiar with Windows and proficient with standard office equipment, FAST TS and FAST closing scheduler.
Must have extensive experience with sale and refinance HUD-1 preparation, title clearing, and document preparation.
Must have a high level of industry knowledge regarding compliance and regulatory issues.
Multi-state escrow and/or title experience, a plus.
Thorough knowledge of Excel, a plus.
Must have good time management, organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must have the ability to maintain customer service orientation at all times and be able to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment.
Must possess in-depth understanding of escrow/customer compliance requirements.
Individual is responsible to adhere to First American Corporation’s and department’s compliance and information security policies and procedures, including the handling of systems and data, in the performance of the role.
