The Quality/Training Specialist will be responsible for performing accuracy reviews, designs and delivers training on all aspects of job functions processed by non-exempt staff. They will serve as technical resource to Provider Systems Specialists. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides feed back and recommends opportunities for improvement. They will survey quality reviews performed by Quality/Trainer Analyst. Monitors and reviews statistically valid sampling for accuracy on a daily basis. Researches provider/system and work flow issues to identify problems, trends, patterns and root causes for errors. The Quality/Training Specialist will track and report accuracy statistics for dedicated team quality. The will provide feedback to individuals and management on errors detected and identifying training needs. This includes designing, writing and developing reports to provide these statistics. The Quality/Training Specialist will work closely with the Training Consultant on ensuring the quality of training tools and processes. They will also work closely with the PIP Audit team to track quality issues and error trending/reports. Training Documents quality issues and develops recommendations for improvement to include redesigning workflow/procedures and processes. Interprets legislative changes, assesses impact on work processes, and develops recommendation for new workflow/procedures. They will deliver/document training and to assess quality on both/all provider system databases. Develops training module to train new employees or address specific quality issues. The Quality/Training Specialist must be able to communicate changes, updates, improvements, system changes, legislation, departmental and corporate policies.

Skills:
Requires H.S diploma or GED; 2-3 years of work experience in provider systems and maintenance of provider files to include 1-2 years quality/training and documentation; technically knowledgeable in all/most aspects of the processes. FEP Claims and/or Customer Service experience is highly desired. Prior Quality/Audit Experience & Training Experience Highly Preferred; Leadership Experience a Plus. Ability to analyze data, conduct research and identify trends; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
