Job Description:
The main purpose of the position is to carry out analyses of the water quantity availability and water quality relevant to examining whether irrigation might harm the ecology of the stream. It will involve using reactive soil models, basin scale hydrologic models, stream gauge data and advanced statistical Hypothesis testing that will be used to determine no discernable effect at various confidence levels.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Environmental, Hydrologic or Civil Engineering/some coursework in Hydrology/5 years of professional work experience (1 of which should include work experience in water quantity and water quality)/strong knowledge of computer languages to include CAD and GIS/
experience in systems engineering and integration desired
