POSITION PROFILE
Supports the development needs of assigned Area/Region for INA Sales job family through the delivery coordination and execution of all sales training programs. Works with IKON Sales Force Development team, Region and Area management to execute on a learning and development plan that supports the achievement of IKON business objectives and leverages the learning opportunities available through IKON. This position manages Area sales training deployment, delivering training to exempt personnel in both classroom and virtual settings and also supports the IKON learning program development process through in-field participation with newly trained sales representatives. Provides feedback, measurement and reporting to Area/Region leadership and IKON Sales Force Development team on the execution of the learning plan and learning initiatives.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
# Manages and execute the area learning plan objectives as directed by the Business Development Manager
# Manages new hire learning plan and provides feedback to employee’s manager on progress, when required
# Responsible for the delivery coordination and execution of all field-based training programs:
# Facilitates Instructor led training for IKON sanctioned programs primarily in field locations for exempt employees
# Facilitates virtual classroom web sessions for IKON sanctioned programs for assigned Area employees
# Sets up classrooms/virtual classroom environment
# Provides feedback to participants’ managers on behaviors observed during training, when appropriate and/or required
# Occasionally supports overall IKON learning plan execution by facilitating training class outside of assigned Area
# Field management coaching on team development opportunities and employee learning progress against plan
# Field management coaching on management skills development opportunities
# Makes recommendations to assigned managers for supplemental training for specific team development needs leveraging existing learning resources or other self-paced curriculum.
# Exempt or commissioned field employee coaching through field observation (ride along, work observation, etc.)
# Coordinate class and participant entry into Learning Management System with the LMS Administrator as required
# Reports learning assessment/certification results to assigned managers and Business Development Manager
# Proactively seeks feedback on existing training curricula and communicates opportunities and issues to Business Development Manager
# Actively pursues personal training and development opportunities and relevant approved certifications
# Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
# College degree or equivalent business experience required.
# Requires minimum of 5-7 years business experience including:
# Document products and services industry experience
# Training experience or role requiring significant manager led development
# Management experience
# Field experience in specific area to be trained required (i.e.
# service, outsourcing operations, sales, etc.)
