Sr Business Analyst-Jobs in North Carolina

To serve as liaison between the business community and the IT Application Development (AD) organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs; translate business requirements into functional specifications; must possess business domain expertise in the business unit(s) supported and understand the systems and capabilities of the IT organization; analyze business partner operations to understand their strengths / weaknesses and determine opportunities to automate processes and functions; assist in business process redesign and documentation, as needed for new technology initiatives; translate high level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to specifications; negotiate deliverables by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation; recommend buy vs. build decisions; follow rigorous SDLC and project management best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes and adhere to change control and problem management procedures.

* Ability to analyze requirements between business operations, IT and 3rd party vendors.
* Lead requirements gathering sessions.
* Maintains SOX, SAS70, and ERISA a regulatory controls & standards.
* Coordinates with Quality, Compliance and Product Development to optimize delivery of products and services.
* Will be responsible for collecting key data across the organization, analyzing the data and preparing requirements (business, functional and technical).
* Familiar with data aggregation and delivery of data solutions.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
* Develop and implement procedures for growing business unit.

Qualifications

* Minimum of a Bachelors degree.
* 8 – 10 yrs of business analysis experience.
* Good communication, analytical, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills.
* Familiarity with 401k, 403 (b) and other retirement plans and products.
* Ability to develop business and functional requirements.
* Ability to coordinate with C-level executives.
* IT product development and program experience.
* Coordinate with QA teams for test case preparation.
* Ability to follow SDLC process.
* Solid understanding of IT and its alignment with business processes.
