Job Description
1.
Participate, model and analyze the development of total compensation and incentive programs and policies. Participate in or lead implementation activities (which may include base pay programs, incentives, benefits, rewards/recognitions programs, etc.) for the Latin America region.
2.
Develop evaluation tools, job descriptions and career ladders. Utilize tools and guidelines to evaluate jobs. Ensure that PeopleSoft data structures support effective compensation administration.
3.
Manage the administration of all compensation plans and programs in partnership with Executive compensation CoE, Shared Services and other stakeholders.
4.
Conduct job evaluations. Works with Field HR and management to understand and define the role. Determine exempt/non-exempt status (US/PR only). Determine grade/BPG, EMV, MICP % and stock option target
5.
Participate in functional reviews. Analyze market data to price jobs (including incentives and stock options), conduct impact analysis, and develop recommendations/ action plans.
6.
Ensure that processes exist to support the integrity of compensation-related data in PeopleSoft and other HRIT portfolio applications
7.
Maintain documentation for global compensation plan information required for administration
8.
Research and resolve issues/inquiries related to the plans, processes and tools involved in compensation administration
9.
Conduct, analyze and participate in survey submission to study labor markets and salary trends so as to establish Baxter budgets, pay rates, and other actions
10.
Analyze survey data during annual EMV/structure update processes to identify issues and determine actions.
11.
Support and lead eComp/Q1, quarterly stock option, pay and step structure, location differential (City Clusters), and other processes as necessary.
12. Support and lead the implementation of HR Systems, HR Metrics and HR processes improvement in Latin America Region.
Job Requirements
MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH
1.
Span of knowledge – Working knowledge of most areas of compensation and incentive program and policy design and implementation. Must be skilled in job analysis, job evaluation, market analysis and knowledgeable in local laws/regulations and labor markets and trends affecting compensation.
2.
Analytical skills – Strong analytical skills using both qualitative and quantitative data.
3.
Experience with relevant analytical tools (strong focus on spreadsheet applications).
4.
Critical HR Competencies, including process management, analytical skills & decision-making, and cultural awareness & global application.
5.
Requires a bachelors degree or country equivalent related experience and 3 – 5 years of compensation experience.
6.
Basic knowledge of statistics and accounting required.
7.
Experience with PeopleSoft v8.0+ is a plus as well as reporting/analytical tools, i.e. Access, Excel, etc
