CEVA Logistics is part of a global company providing an array of logistics services. CEVA Logistics provides Fortune 500 companies value-added supply chain services, such as network design/redesign, high-velocity cross docks, fulfillment centers, sequencing, kitting, sub-assembly, return logistics, dedicated contract transportation and e-Commerce solutions.

We are currently recruiting for a Technology Project Leader.

Essential Functions:
Manage all assigned IT tasks associated with the project or assignment. This includes the timely and accurate generation of project plans, status reports, dashboards, task lists, etc.

Ability to deliver projects ‘on time’, ‘as expected’.

Serve as technology liaison with groups, such as internal/external customer, sales, engineering, quality, and other teams as appropriate.

Conduct or facilitate IT project/product meetings, conference calls, kickoff meetings, JAD/JOD sessions, debriefs, etc and publish meeting minutes, as appropriate.

Manage or direct other IT team members assigned to the project, when applicable.

Effectively communicate to all project stakeholders on a regular basis.

Ensure production of detailed requirements, and ensure detailed documentation is produced for new & existing applications or products in compliance with defined IT ISO Methodology.

Validate current applications with upcoming business needs and provide recommendations for approach or continuous improvement.

Ensure development, testing, implementation and installation of solutions are appropriately assigned and successfully completed.

Ensure effective training materials and work instructions are produced for IT solution(s) & appropriate team(s) is/are successfully trained, including IT Help Desk associates.

Effectively identify and escalate issues as appropriate.

Serve as second or third level resource on support calls, as required.

Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the assigned IT application.

Must be able to travel as required.

Non-Essential Functions:
Application Development.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Transportation/Logistics.
Experience with AS 400 and Client Server Applications is a plus.
4+ years experience with Logistics applications (ex. Transportation, Warehousing, Crossdock, Sequencing, etc).
Experienced in managing projects, delivering project work products, and following a project methodology.
Knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
