This position is responsible for the design and revision of online training content. Visual problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to produce and execute a variety of creative solutions. It requires a sophisticated design sensibility coupled with knowledge of GUI and information design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Work within an internal creative team to edit and design online content using Flash for online training
* Participate in weekly status meetings for project updates and to coordinate work assignments
* Work with other graphic designers, instructional designers, project managers and QC staff to develop and implement projects
* Prioritize daily workflow and demands on quality, time, and resources
* Use internal workflow system to complete daily assignments and implement customer changes
* Design custom graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
* Implement design revisions in a timely manner
* Move smoothly and quickly between projects with diverse parameters and objectives
* Work closely with creative team and project team to meet project objectives and deadlines
* Ability to function well in a high-stress, high-volume, fast-changing work environment and the ability to work on multiple time-critical issues

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent
* 3+ years professional experience developing in Flash and ActionScript
* A strong understanding of how HTML, javascript, and other web-related technology, effect design and layout
* Expertise in typography, information design, image creation and manipulation
* The ability to quickly provide alternative solutions to design challenges where appropriate and requested
* The ability to effectively balance multiple projects and deadlines
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
* High level of proficiency in PhotoShop (required)
* Proficiency in Illustrator
* Working knowledge of the MAC operating system and understanding of navigating server destinations
* Experience using ftp software for file transfer
