Position Description:
Position Summary:
The Manager, Automotive Marketing Analysis will be the functional expert and business owner of performance analysis in the automotive conversion marketing space. As such, this role will be responsible for developing, delivering and presenting across a variety of audiences a range of performance effectiveness analyses of marketing levers designed to drive both response volume and conversion rate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manages the construction and delivery of partner, make, model, segment and program-level performance analyses
* Analyzes the effectiveness of the marketing communication stream in driving responses and delivering conversion rate improvements
* Manages the development and delivery of ad hoc program post-mortem insights; including conversion trending and dimensionalization of performance drivers
* Deconstructs conversion performance across multiple dimensions to evaluate the effectiveness of the segmentation strategy and identify areas in need of additional marketing focus
* Develops and applies analytical frameworks to measure and establish the effectiveness of various promotional levers at delivering conversion improvements
* Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years experience. Marketing analytics experience in a Telecommunications environment or other similar background preferred
* BS/BA Degree
Requirements and General Skills:
* Direct experience managing the development and presentation of performance effectiveness analysis for a consumer subscription business
* Background developing and communicating the results of complex subscriber analyses to sales & marketing leadership; including evaluations of loading and unloading drivers
* Demonstrated skill in building, performing and delivering customer segmentation analyses that provide insights into customer behavior
* Experience managing the development of performance analyses and creating analytical frameworks in support of subscriber acquisition and/or conversion initiatives
* Demonstrated experience teaming and collaborating with matrixed teams to achieve organizational goals
* Previous experience working independently in a dynamic business environment
* Good public speaking and presentation skills coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
* Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person
* Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
* Demonstrated experience developing and utilizing relational databases to retrieve, manipulate and analyze large data sets using tools like Oracle SQL, PLSQL, TOAD, MS Access and/or MS SQL Server
* Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
