Description Job Summary:
Position responsible for the daily oversight of operations of the warehouse employees and to ensure compliance with all company policies. Assist in the training of new hires and ensure all production, sanitation, and quality standards are met.
Job Responsibilities:
* Ensure quality and On-Time delivery
* Ensure compliance of sanitation guidelines by warehouse employees
* Monitor employee relations and handle employee issues/problems
* Assist with training new hires and other training as needed
* Oversee the daily actions of employees including performance management
* Ensure all employees are in compliance with safety policies
* Perform audits to monitor quality of employee work
* Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience in Warehouse Distribution preferably in the Grocery Industry.
* The ability to supervise groups of 25+ employees.
* The flexibility and willingness to work evenings and/or weekends is a must.
* Experience working in a Union environment is preferred.
