Key Accountabilities:

-Responsible for day-to-day management of projects
-Provides direction to design teams
-Works within larger brand guidelines, while interpreting for web usage
-Develops new initiatives for the site; generates ideas beyond assigned projects
-Interprets data and translates business strategy into creative strategy
-Keeps abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape; makes recommendations
to senior management
-Collaborates with external macy’s divisions eg. Events planning, private label brands, corporate marketing

Qualifications

Skills Summary:

-8 or more years of work experience
-Photoshop, Illustrator, knowledge of Flash
-Print knowledge a plus
-Fashion Design experience a must
-Online experience required
-Must be able to communicate effectively with all tiers and all disciplines of the organization
-Retail experience
-Presentation & management skills
-BA/BS or comparable experience is strongly preferred.
