Our Fall 2009 Internship Program begins on September 14, 2009 and ends on November 20, 2009. Opportunities are available in New York City as well as our headquarters in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Responsibilities:
Requirements for Design positions:
• Design background with knit, woven’s, accessories and /or handbags experience
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of respected design school and program
• Creative thinker with a curious and hard-working nature
• Computer skills with strong understanding of design related computer programs
• Understanding of the Liz Claiborne aesthetic
Requirements for Creative Marketing positions:
• Graphic design skills
• Curious, creative and enthusiastic
• Strong Comping skills
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Photoshop, in design and illustrator
• Previous experience working on graphic design projects in fashion or closely related field
Qualifications:
The ability to sketch using Illustrator
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
High energy, initiative and sense of urgency
Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment
Strong flat sketches
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator
Required Skills:
*Rising Junior, Senior or Recent College Graduate
*Minimum 2.8 GPA
*Prior retail experience advantageous, however not necessary
