- FIRE/SAFETY CARD (must be presented within 30 days from DOH)- 5-7 years of experienceThe Manager for the Cancer Treatment Center works collaboratively with the Department Director and Medical Director to ensure all department and hospital goals are met. The Manager will provide supervision for the daily departmental operations and identification of process improvement opportunities. The Manager is responsible for ensuring all regulatory and quality guidelines are followed. The Manager’s tasks include but are not limited to the supervision of clinical and technical associates. The Manager will foster an environment of Service Excellence, utilizing recognized Best Practices and will proactively identify challenges and opportunities and will seek solutions. The manager will represent the Center and SVMC in a positive manner to all patients, physicians and visitors.EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION· Bachelor Degree preferred. Experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.· Current licensure as a California Therapeutic Radiology Technologist and Certified Radiation Therapist (ARRT) or California Registered Nurse (experience in oncology preferred).· Current American Heart Association BLS certification.· City of Los Angeles Fire and Safety Training card (within 30-days of hire).MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED· Minimum 5 years experience as a Manager of Radiation Therapy, preferably in a medium to large sized facility. Expertise in operations for an outpatient cancer treatment center.· Minimum 3 years supervisory experience, preferably managing a diverse staff.
