Communications & Marketing Officer

Description

This position involves writing and dissemination of information regarding the research, events and teaching of the Department of Child & Family Studies; will provide written materials for media relations, public affairs; will identify dissemination and marketing opportunities and plan strategies for the development of targeted information products.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, or related field, with two years of experience in related positions; or a Master’s degree in the fields listed above. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Demonstrated experience in coordinating with media relations or the press. Experience conducting interviews and writing articles for publication. Experience targeting a wide range of audiences, from general public to the research field.
