PR & MARKETING SUPERVISOR

GENERAL SUMMARY: Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRMC, modeling the values and culture.
The Public Relations and Marketing Supervisor works under the supervision of the Director, PR/Marketing Communications. In concert with the Director, and in accordance with the strategic marketing plan, develops and implements a diverse communications plan to advance both internal and external public relations, marketing, and communications priorities through such channels as media relations, newsletters, web sites, social media, community education and events, advertising, and other marketing projects. Manages media relations activities, including drafting responses to inquiries, arranging interviews, researching and preparing news releases and position statements, and developing a proactive news release strategy. Facilitates development of advertising materials between ad agency and various LRMC departments, consistent with annual marketing plan. Collaborates with physician relations and business/industry representatives and other departments to produce needed materials. Ensures coordination and consistency of dissemination of key organizational messages.Conducts and analyzes evaluations of department activities. Identifies opportunities for and contributes to the improvement of quality, safety, and cost, as well as patient, customer, and employee satisfaction.
Performs other duties as assigned.
