Quality Inspector – Product Acceptance Specialist A/B
Description
Assembly/Systems Inspection – Visually and dimensionally inspect in process and completed aircraft structures, sub-assemblies, completed section systems, installations, detail parts, and miscellaneous special equipment. May perform system related test as required. Inspect a combination of composite and metal structure assemblies for conformance to all applicable standards and specifications. Accurately document and report any defects that violate the drawing requirements. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned such as supporting shipping and receiving inspection operation.
Tooling Inspection – Perform inspection in areas of tooling operations such as detail tools, dies, jigs and fixtures, templates and patterns, machined tools, plaster and plastic mockups and masters. Work from tool models, engineering models, numerical control data, quality procedures and instructions, company and customer specifications and procedures. Prepare and maintain documentation required for operation. Approve and stamp acceptable tools and reject tools that do not meet acceptance criteria. Initiate applicable non-conformance documents as required. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned such as laser radar or tracker operation.
