SAFETY & QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER
Description
The Safety & Quality Control Officer is responsible for the Environment of Care (EC) management plans, life safety and quality control (QC) assurance in healthcare settings, including but not limited to work performed in existing and new physical plant facilities. May require work in limited and confined spaces, including but not limited to work below buildings in basements, crawl spaces, and similar areas, as well as above ceiling work in office spaces, clinical, and patient care areas. The Safety and QC Officer will be the point of contact for ensuring compliance with the EC management plans and quality requirements identified in project plans and specifications. The Safety and QC Officer will serve as a member of the McLeod Health Decontamination Team in the event of a disaster. Must be available to work all shifts and weekends as necessary.
