Compensation & HR Systems Specialist

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Compensation Administration (40%)
* Designs job classification systems and defines job levels and families, in partnership with human resources and business leadership.
* Administers pay structure, provides market and internal equity analyses, conducts job evaluations, and supports administration of all reward programs.
* Supports annual merit and bonus pay cycles by compiling market and performance data, modeling and analyzing cost scenarios.
* Advises managers and HR team members on compensation issues, including new hire salaries, salary adjustments, and compliance requirements.

* Analyzes compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans.
1. HR Systems Administration (40%)
* Supports roll out of performance management initiatives, completion of self-assessments and performance reviews, and submission of compensation changes, and production of performance and compensation related reports.
* Acts as a company-wide resource for TalentManager (performance management system) users.
* Supports the development and maintentance of the on-boarding extranet site.
* Manages end-user login credential assignments for the on-boarding extranet site and our LMS (eLearning Center.)
* Collaborates with the Manager, Learning Center to respond appropriately to system-related inquires through the Ask Training inbox.
* Generates reports from ADP, TalentManager, and Openhire for HR team and other users as needed.
* Performs HRIS systems audits to ensure the integrity of employee data:
o FLSA audits (Ensure FLSA status in EV5 matches job codes, matches employee type)
o Job codes vs. salary plan audits
o Worker’s compensation code audits
o General data audits such as employee class vs. benefit program
o Work Location code audits and department security audits
o Manager audits
o Manages EV5 tables to include job codes
o Generates EEO-1, VET-1 Reports and submit to agencies
* LMS (eLearning Center) Administrative Management:
o Generates reports as needed (by request of Talent Management team)
o Monitors Help Desk issues related to eLearning Center
o Manages classes in the eLearning Center (course creation, participant progress, assessments, etc.)
1. External Benchmarking and HR Key Performance Indicators (10%)
* Conducts and participates in employee benefit surveys; interprets survey data; performs analyses to determine competitive positioning. Presents findings.
* Conducts and participates in salary surveys; interprets survey data; performs analyses to determine competitive positioning. Presents findings.
* Key Performance Indicator Design & Measurement – Evaluates HR effectiveness through the design, measurement, and monthly reporting of a strategically aligned set of HR performance metrics.
1. Training (10%)
* Designs, develops, and delivers training programs to managers and employees on compensation, the Company’s career management system, and other HR/professional development topics as needed.
