Posting Description Manages staff of engineers supporting Body Assembly or Stamping, or both plants. Provides engineering support to assist manufacturing with current and new production issues and concerns related to quality, cost, and delivery. Develops and implements countermeasures in a timely manner. . Manages major and minor model equipment and tooling development and launch including achievement of all program targets for each trial or development phase. Manages new and current model budget development.

B.S. Degree in Engineering or engineering related field plus a minimum of six to ten years of related experience at a professional level to include one to two years in a work leader role coordinating the work of other employees or contractors. This includes training new employees, assigning work, and checking the timeliness and quality of work. Most time in work leader role would have been spent performing work similar to that performed by the people whose activities the position coordinates.. Excellent verbal and written communication, and motivational skills. Knowledge of body assembly processes and components that make up body structure. Knowledge of new, minor, and major model development processes. Knowledge of Nissan Nissan Engineering Standards.
