Located in Greenville, SC, this Bright Horizons will be located in the heart of town and service Infant through Preschool. We are now hiring a Director with a proven track record in leadership and supervision of a large NAEYC accredited facility.

Stepping into a director position at Bright Horizons, you will:
* Lead and supervise teaching team through communication, collaboration and discussion of individual children’s needs, services, and curriculum planning
* Ensure that all staff interact and communicate respectfully with children demonstrating an inclusive environment
* Recruit staff through outreach to community, colleges, high schools, minority organizations, local resource and referral agencies, etc. Oversee the process of screening, interviewing, and hiring teachers in collaboration with Program Coordinators and classroom team.
* Orient staff to Bright Horizons Family Solutions using regional and center/school orientation resources
* Develop key staff to share leadership roles in the center/school
* Serve as a role model by assuming a fair share of work including classroom and center/school responsibilities as needed: kitchen, pets, diapering, substituting
* Be available and accessible to parents/guardians every day, and respond to parent/guardian concerns
* Share resources with parents/guardians through discussions, articles, parent/guardian boards, newsletters, workshops and community contacts
* Help market program to community
* Maintain active waiting lists to ensure that available slots are filled quickly.
* Ensure that all licenses and permits are current
* Develop budget in conjunction with Regional Manager and Finance Department
* Maintain accurate and current financial records, and collect and record tuition payments
* Assure a clean, safe, child-ready center/school at all times
* Attend and actively participate in Directors’ Meetings, regional functions, and training

Requirements
* An Associate Degree Required
* Five + years of management/leadership experience required
* Additional teaching experience with a combination of infant, toddler or preschool teaching experience and actual administration of a child care center required
* Must meet state educational requirements for director and additional center/school requirements may apply
