Job Description
This is a part-time position. Shifts include rotating shifts, working 7a-7p or 7p-7a. Will work every other weekend.

Nursing Assistants work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to assist with nursing care to patients as directed by the nurse. Nursing Assistant functions include: personal hygiene, comfort and safety measures, assisting with activity, and simple nursing procedures outlined in the job responsibilities. The Nursing Assistant (NA) assists with maintaining a clean and safe environment for the patient. The Nursing Assistant has the ability and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions and work under close supervision. Effective verbal and written communications skills are necessary. Must have CPR certification every other year.
Required Skills
A high school education/GED is required. On the job training will be provided. No formal NA training required. Nursing Assistants who give medications in the assisted living facility will successfully complete a 20-hour training course.
