POSITION PROFILE
Reporting to the Area President or Strategic Director of Sales, the Manager, Professional Services provides software and document solutions sales leadership of technology based solutions into the IKON Area customer base and growth of new clients. The Manager of Professional Services leads and develops the professional services sales team. This leader also supports the general line sales managers and teams to increase the sales of IKON’s document solutions offerings and leads development of our clients’ document solutions strategies.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
# Sales leadership driving software and services sales
# Coach, mentor and manage Professional Services sales teams
# Set and drive customer document workflow and solutions strategy
# Lead and participate in customer strategy planning and collaborate with all business functions to create a complete strategic customer plan
# Function as management sponsor in top Area Professional Services opportunities
# Direct responsibility for and management of Professional Services P&L
# Allocate resources where necessary to implement solutions or customers problem resolution.
# Coordinate launch of packaged solutions and technology offerings by understanding the fit for the Region or Area, identifying champion and organizing training for successful launch or implementation
# Create training and provide information to existing Sales personnel to clarify the sales strategy for technology-based solutions
# Provide sales assistance where necessary to Area personnel
# Provide account manager and customer point of contact for accountability in problem resolution
# Ensure that services are provided, implemented correctly and billed in a timely and accurate manner.
# Provide presentations and trainings to Areas on technology offerings and how those fit within customers business needs
# Work with the management staff on implementing new policies and procedures.
# Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
# Requires 4-8 years experience in the areas of software sales and consulting.
# Requires 4-8 years of sales management of software and consulting sales teams
# Requires completion of a four-year degree and/or knowledge typically gained through attainment of a 4-year degree.
