Position Title Retail Admin Loss Prevention Investigator
Job Description The Loss Prevention Investigator is responsible for maintaining and controlling an accurate inventory for each store. Will take an active role in identifying all forms of loss, motivate shortage control involvement and help identify creative shortage control solutions. Responsible for heightening store loss prevention awareness by attending and participating in store meetings. Secure retail stores, storerooms and warehouse with alarms and magnetic sensors. Conduct safety inspections and communicates hazards to store management. Perform surveillance of retail facilities either by direct observation or CCTV systems. Assist Loss Prevention Management to develop and implement shortage reduction programs. Maintain an open channel of communication with all levels of retail management and all associates. Participate in the training of new hire store associates to address the areas of loss prevention. Be familiarized with all retail systems and paperwork used within the resort retail operations. Disposal of merchandise not fit to sell. Conduct surveillance to detect and apprehend internal and external theft and fraud. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Loss Prevention Management and/or Retail Senior Management. Previous investigative experience preferred, but not required
