KSR is currently seeking a Scientists-Asbestos Project to work for our client located in the Mojave Desert (Nevada). This position is a TEMPORARY opportunity. Only LOCAL candidates will be considered for this opportunity.
Key Requirements:
* Candidate must possess a valid Nevada Asbestos Project Monitor and Inspector certification.?
* Candidate must also have completed and have current OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Course, and have evidence of completion (OSHA Card or training certificate).
* Not required, but certainly a plus, is current participation in the AIHA Asbestos Analyst Registry for analysis of asbestos air samples.
Experience:
* Two years minimum of asbestos project monitoring of asbestos abatement projects.
* Ability to oversee multiple work areas on an asbestos remediation site, and document contractor activities and certify compliance with NV OSHA and Air Quality regulations.
* Technical proficiency in the collection of air and bulk samples for asbestos.?
* Excellent written and communication skills, and ability to work with multiple trades.
