Job Title: Senior Inventory Analyst-DSL
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Overview: Support and leads the inventory management programs and will carry out a variety of tasks and functions in support of the customer. Responsible for forecasting and planning needs to maintain proper inventory levels, inventory mix, and to oversee the overall efficiency of the program for both routable and expendable parts.
Education/
Experience: • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Skilled with computer software applications to include but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Inventory Management systems and the USAF database systems. • Military Logistics and government property experience a strong plus. • Proficient with relational databases, complex spreadsheets, and statistical software packages. • The environment characteristic for this position is an office setting. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment. Some travel may be required. Previous experience in warehousing and handling inventory. • Must have organization, communications and time management skills.
General
Comments: • Create and implement detailed data collection plans to acquire all necessary data elements to create statistical inventory forecast for routable and expendable components. • Develop and maintain forecast model for high dollar, high demand items based on expected and actual demand rates, work scope, and scrap rates. • Coordinate, establish, review and maintain Bills of Material for multiple repairable components with high degree of accuracy to aid in forecasting analysis • Produce periodic optimized forecasts, which combine the statistical and logical forecast model into an overall forecast meeting contractual requirements. • Be familiar with Government Property Accounting Procedures and be able to maintain a high dollar DOD repairable asset inventory within program policy and procedures. • Set up and monitor a cyclic inventory system to cover both repairable and consumable assets. • Make recommendations for process and procedures changes re
