Job Description
-Work in a fast paced Federal Government Training/Learning Center and provide training administrative support to government professionals, project manager and instructional designers.
-Maintain regular written and verbal communications with the client on the status of various training initiatives.
-Design and create marketing materials to support training initiatives, such as course announcements and promotional flyers.
-Coordinate the on boarding of new Federal employees and contractors.
-Write and maintain standard operating processes for the training department.
-Provide quality assurance and formatting on training documentation, such as lesson plans, design plans and instructional materials.
-Assist in setting up meetings including the multimedia equipment.
-Self-direct the work-load and track all work and schedules to ensure that all work is completed within scheduling and budgeting parameters.
-Produce quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
-Support training workshops
-Develop and maintain electronic copies of all current course content using document management software.
-Maintain unit calendar and tasking requirements
-Establish and maintain filing systems and update training databases
Required Skills
-Excellent oral and written communication skills; express technical information clearly and simply to non-technical persons
-Work independently and collaboratively based on the project needs
-Strong organizational skills
-Interact effectively with all levels of organization personnel, clients, and vendors
-Ability to produce quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
-Apply team and interpersonal skills to changing work circumstances
Knowledge:
-Knowledge of document management systems such as SharePoint
-Knowledge of the ADDIE model is helpful
Required Experience
-Working in a training environment
-Working in a project environment
-Consulting and interacting with clients to assess client needs and maintain client relationships
-Experience in working with matrix organizations
-Work experience demonstrating a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word
-Two to four years of related training administrative experience are required
-Creating marketing materials is a plus
-Working on a federal government site is a plus
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, in a related field.
Must be U.S. Citizen. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. EOE M/F/D/V
